How would you ensure a project is delivered on time and budget?

One way to ensure project success is to keep track. Hold meetings on a regular basis so that everyone in the team is on the same page. Monitor the milestones achieved and make sure it stays on schedule. Make sure everyone is focused on the original task and be willing to implement changes if required.

What do you do when you can't finish a project on time?

Call your client and explain. Take a minute to get in touch with your client and let them know that you've overbooked yourself. Explain to them that you want to do the best work you possibly can for them and, in order to do that, you would like to renegotiate deadlines and timing for the project.
